This page is my own personal 'shrine' of sorts to the original HERETIC game. Back in '95, '96, I got hooked on this game. I was introduced to it by some fellow co-workers, who would have after-hours Deathmatch sessions on the company LAN. Talk about addictive. LAN-play, good tunes, good friends, and frags, frags, everywhere. Heheh. Back then, it wasn't the Phoenix Bow, it was the Phoenix Rod. Talk about some spank-ass. We always kept an eye on the net, for new deathmatch .WAD's. Soon, I will have links to some of my favorites, below. What I'd really like to see, is some of these converted to Heretic II format. Some of these Heretic classic levels are schweet deathmatch levels - tightly designed, with good, creative layout. If I knew how to make maps, I'd probably undertake this myself.
